Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Our auto glass replacements are warranted for one year from the date of your replacement.

What does your warranty cover?

Our warranty covers wind noise, water leaks and workmanship.

How much does your warranty cost?

Absolutely nothing.

Shop Hours and Service Area

Do you offer mobile auto glass replacement in my area?

We offer mobile auto glass replacement up to a 50 mile radius from our location in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

What are your shop's hours of operation?

We are open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. We also offer a 24 hour emergency line for special situations - call (908) 754-4855.

Does mobile auto glass replacement cost more than in-shop installation?

No. We charge the same standard price for mobile and in-shop auto glass replacements. We do, however, run specials for in-shop auto glass replacement. We are currently offering an instant $30 off your in-shop replacement.

Do I have to be present during my auto glass replacement?

No. We understand the demands on your time and will do everything we can to make your experience with us as simple and as convenient as possible.

Do you offer more than windshield replacements?

Yes. We offer replacement services for all the glass in your vehicle from the rear view mirror to the back window. We also offer water leak repair, window regulator replacement, ADAS recalibrations, heavy equipment, as well as panoramic roof and mobile home repair and replacement.

Will my new windshield be the same color as my old one?

Yes. We can match the color of your old windshield exactly.

Payment Questions

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash and money orders.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price we quote you includes all labor charges, glass charges, adhesive charges, and molding charges.

I found another auto glass replacement company who quoted me less than you. Why is that?

Not all glass companies have the same standards. There is no way to get around the cost of materials, but many glass shops purchase their inventory at the lowest price possible regardless of that supplier's industry track record or level of quality control. In our experience, a cheap piece of glass is a safety hazard to you and your family and a detriment to our reputation of quality service and customer safety.

Safety & Inspection Questions

How can I be sure you will replace my windshield correctly?

We take special care in all auto glass replacements, but extreme attention is paid to windshield replacements. We understand the importance of your windshield as a safety device and take every precaution to ensure a replacement that meets or exceeds the standards set by the manufacturer.

What happens to my windshield inspection stickers; do I need to have my new windshield inspected?

We will move the inspection stickers from your old windshield to the new one as part of our final inspection.

Do I have to worry about broken glass after the replacement?

No. One major step in our final inspection is cleanliness. Your auto glass replacement technician will remove any and all debris from the work area including broken glass, left over adhesive or molding piece, clean up rags, and the scratch mat (used to prevent scratching of your vehicle while in service).

Can I drive off right away?

Most vehicles do require time for the adhesive bond to set. Your technician will explain to you the requirements set by that adhesive manufacturer.

What if my windshield leaks?

All auto glass replacements from Quality Auto Glass include a one year warranty. If you have a wind or water leak or your molding has come loose, give us a call and we will correct the problem at no charge.

One of my windows started leaking, can you fix that too?

Yes. We can replace or repair any seal on your vehicle. If we already replaced the leaking piece of glass, we will repair the leak at no charge.

What if I scheduled a mobile replacement and it rains?

The adhesive does require shelter from the rain in order to set properly. We can use just about any shelter from a carport to a garage to cover the glass while the adhesive sets. Once it does you can drive off, but stay out of the car wash for 24 hours.

If you repair a crack in my windshield, will I still be able to see it?

The goal of a windshield repair is to stop the damage from expanding and ruining the glass. Some windshield repairs bond perfectly and dry to near invisible while others dry to a cloudy white. Either way, they all stop the crack from expanding and extend the life of your windshield.

Insurance Questions

Will my insurance rates go up if I file a claim?

No. Auto glass replacement and windshield repairs fall under the comprehensive portion of your insurance policy and will not initiate a rate hike.

Do you bill my insurance agent or my insurance company?

We take care of all the paperwork for your claim for you and your insurance agent. All insurance companies are billed directly.

How much do you charge my insurance company?

Each insurance company negotiates fair rates for their insured clients. We will bill your insurance company the rate agreed upon and nothing more.

What about my deductible?

Your deductible is your portion of the cost of your claim. Once we finish our work, you pay your deductible and your insurance company pays the rest.

What if someone vandalized my car and stole my stereo? Do I have to pay my deductible twice?

You are only responsible for your deductible once per instance. If you come to Quality Auto Glass first, you will pay your deductible to us and leave the bill for your stereo replacement up to your insurance company.

Do I need to call an insurance adjuster before I schedule service?

No. Insurance companies do not require an insurance adjuster for auto glass claims.
